"NESTREE Internet Members" refer to individuals or organizations who have completed the membership registration process on the NESTREE website (hereinafter referred to as the "Company"). In the case of organizations, registration must be done under the name of the organization's representative or key user. Upon registration, members are provided with identification IDs and passwords.
While anyone can become an internet member of NESTREE, the company reserves the right to reject membership registration in the following situations:
- Falsification of information on the application form
- Application with the intention to undermine public order
- Failure to meet other requirements set by the company for registration
In the event of rejection of registration, the company must inform the applicant of this fact.
The company is obligated to adhere to the following for its members:
- The company must make every effort to provide stable services to members.
- Upon receiving members' opinions, the company must process them promptly through appropriate procedures, and if they cannot be processed within a reasonable time, the company must notify the members of the reasons and processing schedule.
- The company must rigorously manage members' personal information to prevent leakage and cannot provide it to other organizations or individuals without the members' prior consent, nor can it be used for commercial purposes other than service-related tasks. However, exceptions apply in the following cases:
i) Requests from investigative or judicial authorities pursuant to relevant laws and regulations
ii) Requests from the Korea Internet Ethics Committee
iii) Other cases stipulated by relevant laws and regulations
- In the event of a member's request for deregistration or loss of eligibility, personal information must be immediately deleted and processed in such a way that it cannot be regenerated by any means.
Members are obligated to adhere to the following regarding the use of services:
- Information provided on the application form must be accurate and current.
- If personal information changes, members must inform the company.
- Members cannot unlawfully use another member's ID.
- Members cannot engage in profit-making activities using information obtained through the company's services without the company's permission.
- Members cannot infringe upon the company's or others' copyrights.
- Members cannot defame others' reputations or undermine public order and morals.
i) Voluntary Withdrawal
Members can terminate their membership through the "Withdrawal" function on the My Page.
After withdrawal, members can rejoin at any time.
However, within one month of withdrawal, re-registration with the same ID is not allowed.
ii) Forced Withdrawal
The company may deprive members of their membership status for a certain period if they fail to comply with the obligations of Section 5 (Members' Obligations).
"NESTREE" (hereinafter referred to as the "Company") regards the personal information of users (or members, hereinafter referred to as "users") as important and complies with the "Personal Data Protection Act" and other relevant laws regarding the promotion of information and communication network usage and information protection.
NESTREE informs users through this privacy policy how the personal information provided by customers is being used and what measures are being taken to protect personal information.
NESTREE collects the following personal information:
ο Board Collection Items: Author, board password, IP address
ο Membership Registration Collection Items: Email, nickname, password, phone number
ο Online Reservation Collection Items: Name, contact information, date of birth, IP address
ο Online Document Application Collection Items: Name, date of birth, contact information, front digits of resident registration number, address, self-verification password, IP address

In principle, information is stored if continuous service is required, and it is promptly destroyed upon request from users.
NESTREE generally destroys the information without delay upon the user's request. The procedure and method for destruction are as follows:
ο Destruction Procedure
- If there is a request for destruction from the user, the information is stored for a certain period according to internal policies and other related laws (refer to retention and use period) and then destroyed. Personal information moved to a separate database is not used for any other purpose other than retention and is not disclosed to any other party unless required by law.

- Personal information stored in electronic file form is deleted using technical methods that make it impossible to regenerate the records.
NESTREE generally does not provide users' personal information to external parties. However, exceptions are made in the following cases:
- When users have consented in advance
- When required by law or when there is a request from an investigative agency according to the procedures and methods prescribed by law for investigation purposes
Users can view, modify, or request deletion of their registered personal information at any time.
To view, correct, or delete personal information, users can go through the verification process via the "Modify" or "Delete" (or withdrawal) functions.
Alternatively, users can contact the personal information protection officer in writing, by phone, or via email, and we will promptly take action.
Until the correction of personal information errors is completed, we will not use or provide the relevant personal information.
We do not operate devices that automatically collect user information other than collecting users' IP addresses and previous domains for visit statistics and automatically extracting the IP addresses of authors when posting articles for visit statistics, which are only used as reference materials for operating the homepage to provide better services.
This privacy policy is posted on the company's website for users to access at any time and may change according to changes in government laws and guidelines and changes in company policies.
